Many fine examples from artists working in Peru at the School of Cuzco are shown in this hall. Of special interest are two works by the Italian artist Angelino Medoro (c.1576-1631) who painted in the mannerist style - "The Virgin and Child with St. Francis and St. Claire" and the "The Holy Colloquy" two huge oils from the School of Cuzco from the beginning of the 17th century. "La Porciúncula" and "Christ Crucified between St. Francis and Sta. Clara"; the Cuzco canvases showing the "Immaculate virgin" end of 17th century.
Also to be noted is the work of Melchor Pérez de Olguín, a famous artist from upper Perú (1660-1730): the dramatic "Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist".
"Christ Resurrected", by the Spanish sculptor Gaspar de la Cueva (1589-1640) who moved to the New World, is of special importance among the sculptures.
