This was made by a Spanish sculptor residing in upper Perú,
a pupil of Montañéz. One should note especially the
slender figure, the elegantly drapery of the robes, the
delicate polychroming, the melancholy expression of the
face with wide brows, the characteristic touches of its
creator.
